Kellyann G. Curll ‘82 (2027)
Kellyann Curll is a native San Antonian and an alumni of St. Luke’s Episcopal School (SLES) ‘82 and Texas Military Institute (TMI) ‘89. She is a current SLES Parent to two students (’28). Kelly is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and participates in the hospitality group. After TMI, she graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York (USMMA) and St. Mary’s School of Law. She is an attorney and a Commander in the United States Navy with hopes to retire from the Navy this year. Previously, she held a United States Coast Guard Third Mate’s license which allowed her to sail ships of any size on all oceans. Kelly’s professional career began with Sea-Land Services, Inc. in Charleston, S.C. as a Manager Trainee where she rotated through all port business operations and subsequently took a Marine Supervisor position. After a couple of years, she decided to pursue a career in law and enrolled at St. Mary’s Law School in San Antonio. After law school, she took a maritime and aviation defense attorney position with Stepp & Sullivan, PC in Houston. In 2000, she left Houston and joined Tesoro Corporation on the trading floor and then joined the legal department as an attorney handling various legal areas. Currently, she is a principal counsel and compliance officer with Southwest Research Institute.
