Michael Mortensen ’80 (2025)

Michael is a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and an SLES Alumni ’80. He is a former vestry member and has served as a school trustee since 2019 in various roles including Executive Committee, Building and Grounds Committee, and the “HOST” Committee.  He is on the Executive Board for the Diocese of West Texas.  Michael attended the University of Florida and holds an Associate’s Degree in Architecture.  He works for Arto Brick as a Regional Sales Manager.  Arto is an American Manufacturer of handmade concrete and ceramic products, made in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to COVID, he was very involved with the Battered Women’s Shelter as a member of the planning committee for Nutcracker Sweets, an annual fundraiser for the shelter.  In his free time, he enjoys traveling and working in his yard.
