Amanda Bennett

All-School Art Teacher

Amanda Bennett is an art educator who teaches PK3 through 8th grade students. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Cameron University and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Art Education. Mrs. Bennett has taught a variety of grade levels, including elementary education in Oklahoma and high school Art and Humanities at an American school in Germany. Upon returning to the U.S., she found her home at St. Luke’s, where she feels blessed to teach in such a supportive environment.

She looks forward to annual events like MasterPeace and Crescendo, which allow her students to showcase their artistic talents. A published illustrator, Mrs. Bennett also takes on commission artwork, continuing to grow her own creative practice. She was once a softball pitcher for the Cameron University Aggies, bringing her competitive spirit to everything she does. As a retired Army spouse, she’s traveled the world and gained a wealth of life experience.

Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Bennett is a proud mother of three adult children and a grandmother to one adorable granddaughter. She believes she has the best job on the hilltop, sharing her love of art and creativity with her students every day.
