Catherine Perkins

Catherine has 26 years of experience in education and is passionate about fostering student growth and enthusiasm in her role as a 4th Grade math teacher at St. Luke’s. She holds a BA in History from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MEd in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Over the course of her career, Catherine has taken on roles such as Math/Science Facilitator, GT Campus Coordinator, and Master Teacher, which have provided her with diverse opportunities to support student success. Catherine finds teaching math to be a true joy, especially when she sees students engage with the material and discover their potential. She feels incredibly blessed to be part of the St. Luke’s community, where supportive parents, a dedicated administration, and enthusiastic students come together to create an environment that fosters growth and achievement.

Outside of school, Catherine cherishes time with family and friends and loves planning new adventures to explore and experience the world.
