Iris Escandon
Director of Lower School
Iris Escandon is the Director of Lower School at St. Luke’s Episcopal School, where she leads the PK3 through 4th-grade program. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education from St. Edward’s University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas State University. With over 24 years of experience as an elementary teacher and assistant principal, Mrs. Escandon is passionate about fostering best practices in teaching and learning. A proponent of shared leadership, she values building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and the broader community.
