Joyce Horner

Joyce is a native of San Antonio and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southwest Texas University with a degree in Applied Arts and Sciences, focusing on Marketing and Public Relations. She is married to John and has a wonderful daughter, Lauren, a son-in-law, Brad, and two beautiful grandchildren, Bryce and Madison.

Since 2001, Joyce has worked as a Director of Development, raising funds for educational institutions from elementary schools to colleges, as well as making a difference in the lives of children and families who have suffered abuse through her work with a national non-profit. She absolutely loves St. Luke’s, describing the students, families, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, and faculty/staff as the best! Fundraising for St. Luke’s brings her the greatest joy.

When she’s not working, Joyce enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, working out, reading, enjoying the beach, and traveling.
